Heritage is the originality, memory and cultural and civilizational identity of Syria and in order to preserve our popular heritage Tartous province today celebrates the days of Syrian heritage held by the Ministry of Culture - Directorate of Folklore and the Directorate of Culture in Tartous in which more than 35 craftsmen display their products that simulate the authentic Syrian heritage of trades and trades were popular in Syrian coast and still. During the fifth folklore festival, which is held in the cultural Tartous, a member of the Executive Office of the Union of Artisans of Tartous, head of the Culture, Publishing and Information Office, Munther Ramadan, stressed the importance of these events in preserving our heritage and education for present generations. Developing serious and meaningful plans to attract, market and promote these traditional professions and trades. They are our address and civilization, revitalizing these industries by introducing them to the curricula, specialized institutes and colleges of tourism and adopting stimulating and encouraging policies for young people by opening special training centers. He added that the craftsman is playing a real role by targeting the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army and teaching them the traditional heritage professions to create job opportunities for them. It was very small, and three wounded were already taught and they are now producing and exhibiting.

Eng. The activities of the first day of the festival, which lasts for three days, included a traditional dance performance of the Tartous Folklore Band, honoring Nazima Ismail, Bahjat and Nous, Rafiq Suleiman Al-Qaht and Ismail Al-Haj Ma'alla for their rich history of accomplishing our Syrian heritage, as well as holding a concert evening.
