A workshop organized by the National Institute of Public Administration was held today at the headquarters of Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside, chaired by the Vice President of the Chamber, Mr. Loay Nahlawi, in the presence of a number of sub-committees in all sectors of industry.
During the workshop, a questionnaire was distributed to the scientific research carried out by the Institute concerning vocational education and vocational secondary and development and to see the reality of the labor market and its future needs during the years 2020 to 2030. Prof. Louay Nahlawi stressed that the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside will cooperate with the Institute to complete this research and communicate the views of industrialists and what their future professional and specialized needs are within the vision of the reconstruction phase, by circulating the questionnaire to the industrialists and collecting the results of the questionnaire as soon as possible.
The National Institute of Public Administration will also seek to link the needs of the labor market with the educational requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education.
