Based on the importance of specialized exhibitions, which represent an industrial economic demonstration that displays industrial products according to the latest developments and the importance of organizing these exhibitions as a step on the road to reconstruction, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside chaired by M. Muhammad Muhannad Da`doush, member of the Chamber's office, deputy head of the textile sector, gathered it with members of the Syrian Exporters of Apparel and Textile Association, in the presence of Messrs. Akram Qutoot, Marwan Al-Saleh, Ragheed Al-Halabi, Anas Tripoli, Maher Al-Hakim.

 

The meeting centered around several topics, the most important of which are the preparations necessary for the establishment of the fourth session of the men's clothing industry exhibition 2020, which is organized annually and the details of these preparations necessary for its launch.

 

The attendees discussed the issues related to specialized exhibitions and the need for government support for these exhibitions and work to secure 100% or at least 50% aviation for visitors to these exhibitions, and work to secure the support of the Syrian Export Authority.

 

And other points, including securing the necessary support from the unions for the specialized exhibitions of clothing, following up the book that was submitted to the Ministry of Economy regarding the establishment of a comprehensive specialized exhibition and considering clothing exhibitions as the prerogatives of the unions with the aim of not dispersing the industrialists, and setting an exhibition schedule for the year 2023.
