In 2016, the President of Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside, Dr. Samer Al-Dibs, confirmed that the facilities of the second industrial zone of Fadloun in Damascus countryside will be ready to take off to return to work within a year, pointing out cooperation with the region's industrialists to restore its infrastructure, which is a great supporter of the Syrian product, including its small and medium-sized facilities. Al-Dibs pointed out that the first installment allocated for the reactivation of the region amounted to 140 million pounds, pointing to the banks' pledge to refinance the industrialists in preparation for their return to the operation of their facilities and factories in addition to considering non-performing loans and granting them new loans
