Prime Minister Eng. Emad Khamis approved the Economic Commission's proposal to continuously grant licenses in accordance with the investment and industry regulation laws regarding the vegetable oil industry starting from the era of oilseeds to refining and packaging.

Permitting the granting of licenses in accordance with the above mentioned laws in the field of raw vegetable oils and packing them except / cotton seed oils - soybean oils / in addition to allowing all industrial projects licensed and existing industry vegetable oils (squeezing, refining and extraction solvent or refining only) in accordance with investment laws and regulation Industry to import all their allocations of raw vegetable oils / cottonseed oils - soybean oils / according to the total production capacity estimated by the relevant industry directorate.
