During its regular meeting held at the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside under the chairmanship of Mr. Adnan Al-Sa'our, President of the Engineering Sector, the Committee discussed a number of topics and issues affecting these materials, which are used in many construction works.
Where the Committee touched on the letter of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers addressed to several ministries and bodies to address the requests of the Committee in its meeting with the Minister of Finance.
He also asked attendees to follow up the meetings because of their positive impact on the industry in terms of providing solutions and address the obstacles experienced by the industry.
In conclusion, the members of the Committee stressed the need to hold a meeting with the Director of the Commission for the support of local production and exports to discuss the subject of the request to include the stone and marble industry to support exports.
