The oil plant at Homs Sugar Company will resume production of cotton oil after a year and a half
The oil plant in Homs Sugar Company resumed its production of # cotton oil after a hiatus of about one and a half years because of the unavailability of cotton seeds, the raw material necessary for the manufacture and production of oil.
Director General of Homs Sugar Company, Engineer Abdo Al-Mahmoud, said that the factory produces 8 tons of cotton oil per day resulting from the manufacture of about 60 tons of cotton seeds, pointing out the availability of about 3000 tons of cotton seeds in the warehouses of the factory ready for manufacture and production.
He pointed out that the plant during the period of refining has refined about 400 tons of sunflower oil and after the availability of cotton seeds, the raw material required for the manufacture and production of oil began production and provide public sector institutions with cotton oil material, which enjoys high specifications and quality compared to other types of oil in the market.
